Automatic Thermal Activation: The defining characteristic of the XHM201F is its “passive-to-active” transition. Under normal conditions, the polyurethane foam provides a soft, durable seal that improves energy efficiency and door acoustics. However, should a fire occur, the internal intumescent core reacts to rising temperatures. Starting at 246°C, the core expands to at least three times its original thickness, creating a high-pressure char seal that mechanically locks out flames and prevents the “leapfrog” spread of fire through door perimeters.

Ninety-Minute Smoke Integrity: In modern fire safety, controlling smoke is as vital as containing heat. The XHM201F has been rigorously tested to ensure that even after 90 minutes of direct fire exposure, no visible smoke leakage occurs through the top or side gaps.
