XHF26 is a heavy-section intumescent seal designed for fire doors and fire windows that require a fuller sealing body and stronger edge protection. With a 12mm width and 12mm thickness, it provides a more substantial profile than slim seal options, making it suitable for door assemblies needing greater material volume and reliable perimeter coverage.
PVC+EVA Construction: The PVC+EVA construction combines structural strength with cushioning performance. The PVC layer supports shape retention and surface durability, while the EVA layer adds flexibility and softer contact during daily operation. In normal use, the seal supports consistent gap coverage and dependable edge protection for both entrance and interior doors.
Fire Protection Performance: Under fire conditions, the intumescent core expands when temperatures rise above 200°C, creating a dense barrier within the door gap. Initial expansion begins at 246°C, with main expansion at 301°C, and the core reaches at least 3 times its original thickness. With resistance up to 980°C for 30 minutes and smoke control beyond 90 minutes, XHF26 provides dependable passive fire protection for swinging and sliding door systems.
