XHF10 is a fire-retardant intumescent seal designed for door and window assemblies that need both structural stability and everyday cushioning. With a 12mm width and 8.3mm thickness, it offers a well-balanced profile for installations requiring a stronger sealing body than slim-strip designs.
Composite Material System: The PVC+EVA combination brings together surface durability and flexible contact performance. The PVC outer section supports shape retention and wear resistance, while the EVA component contributes a softer interface for improved sealing consistency on entrance doors and interior doors.
Reliable Fire Performance: In fire conditions, the internal intumescent core reacts when temperatures exceed 200°C, expanding to close the gap and restrict the spread of smoke and flames. Initial expansion starts at 246°C, main expansion occurs at 301°C, and the expansion ratio reaches at least 3 times the original core thickness. Together with 980°C resistance for 30 minutes and smoke control beyond 90 minutes, XHF10 provides dependable passive fire protection for swinging and sliding door systems.
